2. Details of the competition
​
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all competitions listed on Tux & Tails, Dungannon, the Promoter’s website at www.tuxandtailsni.com.
2.2 To have a chance of winning, each person who enters the competition (otherwise known as an "Entrant") must correctly answer a question set by the Promoter.
2.3 All competitions are skill-based competitions and an entry fee is payable for each time you enter. We do also include a free entry route and further details of this are included in clause 3.8 below.

3. Entries, how to enter the competition
​
3.1 The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates as specified on the Website www.tuxandtailsni.com. These dates shall be referred to as the "Opening Date" and "Closing Date" respectively. (All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) UK time).
3.2 All entries must be received by the Promoter no later than the specified time stated on the Closing Date of the competition as stated on the website entry.
3.3 Regarding free entries, all entries must be received by the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) by no later than 72 hours prior to the Closing Date. Please note, all competition entries received after the specified time will be automatically disqualified and no refunds will be given.
3.4 The maximum number entries to the competition will be stated on the Website.
3.5 The number of entries you are able to make may be limited if the maximum number of entries is reached.
3.6 If it is necessary to do so for whatever reason, the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) reserves the right to change the Opening and Closing Dates of a competition. If the Promoter makes a decision to change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date of a competition, the new details will be displayed on the Website.

3.7 Competition Entry
(3.7.1) Visit our Website www.tuxandtailsnicom and select the competition you wish to enter.
(3.7.2) Complete and submit the online entry form
(3.7.3) Purchase your entry as per selection box (or entries if you require more).
(3.7.4) Entries are limited to 10 per person per competition (subject to availability).
(3.7.5) Payment must be made in Pounds Sterling (GBP)
(3.7.6) You must also submit your answer to the Competition Question to qualify.
(3.7.7) Competitions which include Vouchers as the "Prize" are limited to 1 Voucher prize per person, despite how many entries made in any one competition.
(3.7.8) Competitions are limited to 1 prize maximum of any kind per person per competition.

3.8 Free Entry
3.8 A free entry route is available by entering the competitions in the following way:
(1) Visit our website www.tuxandtailsni.com and select the competition you wish to enter.
(2)Send an unenclosed postcard to 5 Nortland Place, Dungannon, Co Tyrone, BT71 6AN containing the following information:
(3) The competition you wish to enter;
(4) Your full name and postal address;
(5) Telephone number and email address;
(6) Your date of birth;
(7) Your answer to the Competition Question.

3.8.1 IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING FREE ENTRIES MADE IN OUR COMPETITIONS:
(1) All free entries are restricted to one per person per competition.
(2) Free entries must be received by the Promoter at least 72 hours prior to the Closing Date. Any free entries received after this date will not be entered under any circumstances.
(3) Free entries recieved late with the correct competition entry will not be entered into the draw.
(4) All free entries who answer the competition question correctly have an equal chance of winning a prize as paid entries.
5) The entrant has full responsibility in ensuring that their entry is received by the Promoter in advance of the deadline stated.
(6) If free entries are received after the maximum number of entries for the competition has been reached, they will not be processed and will not be entered into the draw.
(7) Free entries must be received at the promoters address at least 72 hours prior to the Closing Date. Free entries received after this date will not be entered into the draw.
(8) The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) is under no obligation to confirm whether or not an entry was received prior to the deadline or whether the Entrant’s answer to the Competition Question was correct.
(9) Any free entry not complying with the entry requirements contained in clause 3.8 shall be disqualified and not entered into the draw.
(10) All competitions are restricted to 1 prize per person maximum per competition no matter how many times they enter.
(11) Competitions which include Vouchers as the "Prize" are limited to 1 Voucher prize per person, despite how many entries made in any one competition.

3.9 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) will send confirmation that your entry has been received and confirm whether or not your answer to the Competition Question is correct.
3.10 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) will not confirm to Free Entries that their entry has been received and will not confirm whether or not your answer to the Competition Question is correct.
3.11 All entries must be submitted in the English language. Any entries made in languages other than English are automatically disqualified and no refund will be given.
3.12 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) does not accept responsibility for any competition entries that have been lost or delayed for any reason, or that are not successfully completed. This includes delays such as technical malfunction, postal delays, computer problems, network problems, equipment failure etc
3.13 By purchasing entries and by submitting a competition entry, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon Ltd) and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.14 Any "Prizes" which include vouchers must be redeemed within a 4 month period following the date the competition has taken place.
3.15 Any "Prizes" which include vouchers cannot be redeemed against any previous sale agreements, orders, quotes etc which have been made or quoted before the date of the competition.
3.16 By submitting a free entry to the competition, you are entering into a contract with the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon Ltd) and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

4. Eligibility
​
4.1 The competition is open to all residents in the United Kingdom and Ireland (unless otherwise specified in the competition details) and must be a minimum of aged 18 years or over
4.2 The Promoters (Tux & Tails Dungannon) has the right to refuse any entries from ...
(4.2.1) Members of the immediate families or households.
(4.2.2) Employees of the Promoter.
(4.2.3) Employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon), who are professionally connected with the competition.
(4.2.4) Members of immediate families or households as (4.2.2.) and (4.2.3)
4.3 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) will not accept competition entries that are:
(4.3.1) Automatically generated by computer
(4.3.2) Incomplete.
4.4 By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so. The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon Ltd) may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition. By failing to provide the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon Ltd) with proof they may require within a reasonable time, you will be disqualified from the competition.
4.5 No refunds of the entry fee will be given in any event, including;
(4.5.1) if you are disqualified from the competition by the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) for any reason
(4.5.2) if, following your entry into the competition, you subsequently find out that you are not eligible to enter the competition.
(4.5.3) if, following your entry into the competition the eligibility criteria for entering the competition or claiming the Prize changes and you are no longer eligible.
4.5 The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify you for any reason if your intentions are to disrupt the competition.
4.6 Entries may be limited if the maximum number of entries for the competition is reached.
4.7 Entries are limited to 20 per person per competition.

5. The prize
​
5.1 The prize is described on the Website www.tuxandtailsni.com (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize in the competition are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge, information and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.
5.2 Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value.
5.3 If details of the Prize should change, the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) will endeavour to update the Website as soon as possible.
5.4 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) makes no representations and gives no warranties about the Prize, its condition, value etc provided on the Website.
5.5 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) makes no representations and gives no warranties that the information provide on the Website is accurate, complete or up to date.
5.6 The prize is non negotiable.
5.6 There is no option to choose a cash alternative for the prize.
5.7 Vouchers cannot be redeemed against any sales agreements, purchases, orders, quotes etc which have taken place prior to the date of the competition.

6. Choosing a winner
​
6.1 All Entrants who answer correctly the Competition Question and whose entry is received prior to the deadline, ie the Closing Date (or deadline in respect of free entries) will be placed into a draw.
6.2 The winner will be chosen by a random draw. The random draw will take place as soon as reasonably possible and, in any event, within 7 days of the Closing Date ("Draw Date").

7. Winners
​
7.1 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Draw Date, using the telephone number or email address provided with the competition entry.
7.2 If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available, or has not claimed the Prize within 14 of days of the Draw Date, the Promoter (Tux & Tails Dungannon) reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next Entrant who is eligible to receive the prize. This will be drawn from entries received before the closing date (or deadline) with free entries and has entered the competition question correctly.
7.1 The decision of the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
7.2 The Promoter must make available and publish information to verify that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners to anyone who writes to the address as set out in 1.1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within 2 weeks after the Closing Date of the competition.
7.4 If you object to your surname and county being made available/p ublished, please contact the Promoter(Tux and Tails Dungannon) at info@tuxandtailsnicom prior to the Closing Date.
7.5 Please note, if you object to your surname and county being made available or published, the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) must still provide the information to the Advertising Standards Authority should they request this information.

8. Claiming the prize
​
8.1 You must claim the Prize in person. Details of how the Prize will be delivered to you (or made available for collection) are published on the Website www.tuxandtailsni.com
8.2 The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
8.3 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) does not accept any responsibility and is not liable to pay any compensation if you are unable to or do not take up the prize.
8.4 If your contact information should change at any time, you should notify the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) as soon as possible.
8.5 Any notifications of changes should be sent to the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) via email to info@tuxandtailsni.com. Notifications must include details of the competition(s) entered, previous details and also your new contact details.
8.6 All Voucher Prizes are valid for 4 months. The 4 month period refers to from the date the actual competition draw takes place.

9. Limitation of liability
​
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

10. Data protection and publicity
​
10.1 If you are the winner of the competition, you may be required to provide further personal information and proof of your identity in order to confirm your eligibility to claim the Prize and transfer ownership of the Prize to you. You consent to the use of your information in this way. You are entitled to request further details about how your personal information is being used. You may also withdraw your consent to your personal information being used in such way but by doing so you may prevent the Prize being transferred to you. In such circumstances, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the competition and forfeit the Prize. You will not be entitled to any refund of your entry fee. The Promoter reserves the right to offer the Prize to the next eligible Entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the Closing Date.
10.2 By entering the competition, you agree that any personal information provided by you with the competition entry may be held and used only by the Promoter or its agents and suppliers to administer the competition or as otherwise set out in the Promoter’s (Tuxand Tails Dungannon) Privacy Policy, a copy of which is available on the Website.
10.3 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree that the Promoter may use your name, image and town or county of residence to announce the winner of this competition.
10.4 If you are the winner of the competition, you agree to participate in any reasonable publicity required by the Promoter.
10.5 By entering the competition, you agree that your name and entry number(s) will be displayed on our social media platforms and also our website.
10.6 If you do not wish to participate in any publicity, you must notify the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) prior to the Closing Date of the competition.
10.7 If you do not agree to participate in any publicity about the competition we may still provide your details to the Advertising Standards Authority. This is a legal requirement that we must comply with to prove that the competition has been properly administered and the Prize awarded.This will not affect your chances of winning the Prize.
10.8 Please note that under data protection laws you are entitled to request that the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) does not contact you and removes your details from its database. If you make such a request you will be withdrawing from the competition as it will not be possible to contact you in the event that you are the winner. You will not be entitled to any refund of any entry fee if you withdraw from the competition.
If you do not wish any of your personal details to be used by the Promoter for promotional purposes, please email the Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon)at info@tuxandtailsni.com prior to the Closing Data.

11. General
​
11.1 You should print a copy of these terms and conditions and keep them for your records.
11.2 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
11.3 The Promoter (Tux and Tails Dungannon) reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the Website.
11.4 If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition and any future competitions.
11.5 These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland, England and Wales.
